Western Suburbs State Special School is located on Glenala Road, Inala and provides support to students and their families across the Western Suburbs of Brisbane.
History: The school community catchment includes the areas within the western suburbs of Brisbane - Kenmore, Chapel Hill around to St. Lucia; the Centenary suburbs; Chelmer to Oxley; some parts of Acacia Ridge; Inala suburbs and Carole Park. The school catchment area is bounded on the east, south and west by Sunnybank, Calamvale and Goodna Special Schools.
The next general special school to the north is Mitchelton. The next general special school for students in the Pullenvale/Moggill area is Ipswich Special School via Karana Downs as the Moggill Ferry is not a regular access route.
