The Paper and Card Making program is a great environmentally friendly program that takes the school's unwanted printed paper and turns it into beautiful hand made greeting cards.
Students learn a variety of work readiness skills as they work through the various steps to make the paper and then to create a variety of cards. They take shredded paper, blend and colour it, then press it into the paper moulds. The paper, once dried, is turned into a large variety of cards.
Students learn about the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), following routines, keeping workplaces tidy and staying on task until the end of the program. These cards are available for purchase from the school office and we are grateful to the families who support this program.
