Western Suburbs State Special School has began the exciting Journey as a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) school.
We are happy to announce that after extensive feedback and surveys from staff, students and our community we have a Mission statement for Western Suburbs State Special School.
Our Mission statement is: “At Western Suburbs State Special School we aim to be our best when we are Safe, Respectful and Responsible”.
This Mission statement will be the foundation that guides WSSSS on our PBL journey.
The values that were chosen were: We are Safe, We are Respectful and We are Responsible this will form our core teaching and learning.
Together, our mission statement and values will underpin all aspects of school life and with a consistent approach to teaching these values will help and enable our students to be their best.
